Good news all of you working from home in your PJs - the ATO now has 3 options for claiming working from home expenses. 

Here are the options:

1. Option 1: Shortcut method of 80c per hour available only from 1 March 2020 - 30 June 2020, click here for the special Covid-19 rates.
2. Option 2: Fixed-rate method of 52c per hour (default hourly rate) - click here for the rules.
3. Option 3: Actual cost method - this is more work and requires more compliance, but maybe more appropriate to your circumstances - read the details here.
