Primarius Blog - Facebook catfish scams

So, I learnt an import lesson on Facebook this week...

Someone copied my photo and trawled through my contacts and sent them scam messages to join in a $200K government grant scheme. This is clearly bogus, and most people realised straight away. The sad part is that I had no idea my contacts were public, but I've fixed that now.

Here's the lesson I learnt - go and check your privacy settings and keep your list of friends private, you just got to settings\privacy and then check them there.

The friends list question asks Who can see your friends list?  This is where you should choose the option Only me and this will keep your friends list private.
